About me
I live on the Far South Coast, NSW surrounded by bush and waterways.
My favorite thing to do is kayaking on our local lakes and rivers with a couple of mates and taking photos of the birds and wildlife that live on and around the water.
I have been passionate about photography since I was a child, creating miniature scenes of toy animals in wild surroundings to photograph.
In my teens, my grandmother gave me a medium format camera which I used to photograph horses. I've spent my whole life with cameras of one description or another, participating in workshops and short courses.
At the end of my working career, I decided to give my passion for photography the time it deserved to see where I could take it.

My experience.
From 2022 to 2024, I completed a Cert IV in photography at CIT studying part time while still working full time. I am currently studying fulltime at CIT, completing a Diploma in Photography. This is an industry-based course adding greatly to the skill set I had picked up over many years.

My approach.
When you take a photograph of wildlife, pets, family, friends or an event ... you are capturing a moment in time. If I can also capture the story and the feeling of that moment, then I have done my job.
